Infineon Technologies AG, a global leader in semiconductors and embedded system solutions, has announced the release of ModusToolbox™ 3.1, an enhanced and feature-rich toolset designed to help developers streamline software development and hardware design processes from start to finish.

Recognizing the growing importance of software in embedded systems, ModusToolbox™ 3.1 aims to provide developers with the flexibility and functional support required to successfully bring their products to market. The latest update includes a new control panel application that offers easy access to essential learning resources such as key documents, training modules, video tutorials, and links to relevant community forums.

ModusToolbox™ 3.1's control panel also offers workflow guidance to assist developers in creating embedded projects tailored to various integrated development environments, including Microsoft Visual Studio Code, IAR Embedded Workbench, Arm® MDK (µVision IDE), and the Eclipse IDE featured in ModusToolbox.

Additionally, ModusToolbox 3.1 includes significant updates to its Board Support Package (BSP) Assistant, introducing a new user interface for a silicon-centric approach to creating BSPs. Furthermore, it continues to support the reference BSPs available in the Infineon board management library.
